Somewhat thick padded feel. It's soft and cozy like a regular sheet, but waterproof. It is a nice quality overall, made well.

This mattress protector is great! You can tell immediately when touching it that it is 100% cotton. I will be using it in my mini-crib, as it is similar size to a pack and play. I am happy to use this and know that my baby's mattress will remain protected! I am very happy with this mattress protector and will be purchasing more!

I got this to put over a crate pad for my puppy. Sometimes she throws up and it's a pain to clean her crate pad. This has a decent amount of stretch and the pockets work nicely for a 3in crate pad. OF course, this isn't going to hold up to a dog chewing on it, and would work best covered by a crate cover to add some extra waterproof protection.
