Overall, I do like this Laptop stand.I have an old 17in laptop which is heavy (around 5 or 6 kg). The arm holds it up quite well. The laptop tray is also quite sturdy and does a good job of positioning the laptop where I want it.One slight drawback is the collar holding up the arm on the post. It has to be tightened to the point where it may break. If it is not tightened almost to the extreme, the swing arm causes the collar to slide down the vertical pole. The swing arm must then be repositioned to the correct height. I have added a piece of cut bicycle inner-tube which helps to keep the collar in place and the collar does not need to be tightened quite so much.The base of the stand is also quite sturdy and grips the edge of the desk very well without bending or slipping.Still, a good product. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Vraiment très bien pour le tarif.Le plateau est assez grand pour mon portable gamer 17 .En revanche les glissière en plastique font un peu cheap.Le bras quand à lui et super pratique et facilement réglable .Donc je suis content 🙂

It took a little fiddling about to get it set to where my laptop won’t be catapulted by me but I’m so happy! Making a little DIY desk so I can work from my little flat. This has now transformed my tiny table into something that can now hold my laptop, keyboard and mouse. Me (as a girl) found set up a tad confusing but only because I worried about the spare parts. This set comes with 2 types of fittings for desks, I used the clamp but from what I can see there is a bolt too?Some people mentioned not being able to adjust the arm but you have to tighten it/ slacken it with the alan key. (there’s obvious arrows) I recommend doing this before putting your laptop on or you’ll be in trouble like I almost was. The tension isn’t set so can spring back!Test how slow the arm moves up and down and make sure you set the laptop stand part so it’s level and not a crazy angle or it’ll fly off - It took me a moment ok? It’s well built and has flexibility of full rotation!The only downside is the laptop ‘clamps’ at the side, I wish these could be screwed down as they have been designed as plastic ‘snap-on’ pieces which clip onto the metal laptop base. This was frustrating me a bit as every time I tightened them they would fly off. If I could screw them down I’d be a lot happier - Might get some M3 tape just to secure them as when taking my laptop off they ping off and it’s fiddly to clip them back on.Otherwise I fully recommend for transforming small places (or to use on proper desks) to add some height or for my purpose to bring the screen closer to my face.
