Product installed as advertised, but failed in less than a day and I have to now tear my engine apart to replace the faulty product.

My daughters 2001 rx300 had the dreaded failed knock sensor. As most know it is a pain to replace. So I bought this and relocated the knock sensor to the engine mount. It’s works well enough. Still has the second knock sensor not functional but the car runs and drives fine. If you look up on YouTube you can find this “hack” how to replace the knock sensor. It not too difficult if your handy with tools. Beats pulling the intake manifold off.

I was a bit concerned about installing aftermarket parts on a Toyota I've had issues in the past. I installed the knock sensors and harness on this 2002 Avalon with no more check engine light. For almost 1/4 of the price of dealer parts.
