Perfect for my needs. We'll made and sits and stays safe on the belt. To small for todays standard size smart phone, but I didn't buy it for that.

The clip is very secure, as is the case for all Nite Ize products. The Velcro that holds the flap is very wide, giving a secure grip. My phone fits pretty well in it, even with a thin protective case around it, especially since the sides of this case are elastic. The elastic material may become a weak point later, as it ages or wears out, but that may take years.It has a kind of fabric divider inside the compartment, to let me hold some ID and credit cards inside. This is a full-length 'pocket' for cards and cash, and so does not fit cards snugly. They can easily fall out if the flap is not secured and the case is turned on its side or upside-down. Since that is a secondary function for me, I don't mind, but if you expect it to be more like a wallet, you might consider the vertical oriented case, which may be better (I am guessing on that).I like the 'sideways' orientation, because the case does not get in the way when I sit. Overall, it is a good and secure case. The flap is very strongly secured with a lot of strong Velcro. The clip is durable and holds well onto a belt, unlike many other cases with clips. It has a little space for cards and cash, which is OK for my needs.

I have been using this Nite Ize black belt clip holster case every day for the last 2 months ... It's one of the few iPhone 5 belt clip holster cases that has no magnetic closure.I chose this belt clip holster case with Velcro closure since magnets affect the iPhone's compass.
