Be very careful of the sizing as I got a size 14 and I don't think theyre a 14 as just feel slightly small bit in general a very sturdy shoe and a decent pricr

This is my second pair of Nortiv 8 hiking shoes. They are well built, waterproof and comfortable. I appreciate the larger toe box. I've been buying Merrills for years, but not any more!

The laces that come with the shoes measure around 130 cm in length.As you can see from the 1st picture, these included laces are far too short to effectively form the knot even if you cinch the laces tight.The 3rd picture shows the length of the laces the shoe comes with which are black with white strips and again measure only around 130 cm in length. I found another single lace lying around which was 150 cm in length and took a picture of the 2 laces just to illustrate how much shorter the 130 cm lace is. I found the 150 cm lace to be suitable when laced through one of the shoes and tried on, but I decided I needed something a little longer still.The 4th picture shows the $5 laces I purchased from Canadian Tire measuring 160 cm.The 5th picture shows a comparison between using laces which measure 160 cm and the included ones measuring 130 cm. As you can see, the difference is stark. Using the 160 cm laces, I can comfortably lace up the shoes now without straining to form a knot.Aside from the issue with the laces, the shoes are quite comfortable.They are a little stiff, as other purchasers have mentioned, but the pair of Windriver Hikers my brother purchased from Marks were also quite stiff, so I don't think it is a feature unique to these Nortiv shoes.The metal loops or inserts do give me some concern as to the amount of friction they will apply to the laces given enough movement, but this can probably be rectified with the purchase of high quality laces or, as one customer pointed out "elastic lock laces" which have smooth surfaces and lock in place thus reducing friction / tension on the laces.Now that I have laces of sufficient length, I'm looking forward to using these shoes on a regular basis.Nortiv appears to be a very receptive company that takes pride in its products, so I feel confident they will address any issues that might arise.Merry Christmas everyone! 🎄

I’ve had these for a few weeks, worn them a fair amount, very comfortable and seem well madeSizing was right on 10.5 was a perfect fitThey are a little stiff yet but I think they will break inGreat price for a well made shoe

Es buena marca, elige tu talla de siempre.... Los compré del 8 1/2 y me quedo bien. Mido 1.81 y peso 73 Kg.... No vienen reducidas las tallas.... El tenía es cómodo y me gusta que la suela del tenis tiene buen tamaño.

Excelentes tenis, no están hechos todo de tela, al igual que son impermeables, la suela muy resistente, camino por piedras y no me duele pisar las piedras.Puedo decir que estos tenis son muy buenos para la gente que no tiene automóvil 🚗🚗🚗 y tiene que caminar mucho como yo. Sin embargo volvería a comprar otros.

Hasta el momento me han gustado, los he pasado por agua y son impermeables, son cómodos.No son muy ligeros pero para mi están bien.El único detalle es la talla, pedí medio numero mas grande y me ajusto perfectamente, para que lo tomen en cuenta.Buena opción por el precio de compra.
