I ordered this battery and charger because the battery in my grandson’s camera went dead and would not hold a charge. Charging this new battery with the battery charger was easy and the red LED charging light was nice and bright and easy to see. After the battery was charged, I discovered it was extremely difficult removing the battery from the charger. Even with the half-moon cutout for your finger to pull out the battery, I was not able to pop the battery out. I ended up turning the charger upside down and hitting it on the palm of my hand. That allowed one end of the battery to work its way loose from the charger and then I was able to pull it out the rest of the way. There are a couple of plastic retention parts in the charger (see photo) that are just too tight and that’s what make it extremely difficult removing the battery.Once the battery was charged, I checked the battery voltage and it was 4.0V. When I inserted the battery into the camera, I discovered the camera would not turn on so there’s clearly an issue with the camera. Unfortunately, that means I was not able to test the battery life but at least it was able to completely charge.

tried it for a battery i needed, didn’t work. Nothing wrong with the charger itself
