The original sensors are band type. These are stem type. Both will program to the car but the stem type are a lot easier to install. To put these in:1) remove the tire2) remove the core of the stem to quickly drain air3) break the bead of the tire by standing on it or using a tire machine4) push the tire down far enough to find the band and using a screw driver and hammer to pop the c-clip of the band apart.5) use a stem removal tool to extract the stem6) clean the stem hole an insert this one with the same stem removal tool.7) inflate and rebalance.8) reinstall the wheel and tire9) use a programmer (on amazon for like 10 bucks) to reprogram. Look on youtube for a video to put the car into program mode. Mine required three turns of the key, a 2 second stop of the brake pedal, and three more turns of the key. You then go around to the tire specified and push the button of the programmer tool you bought). Once successful, it beeps the horn and goes to the next tire. Pretty easy.

Exact fit, preprogramed sensors no issues at all, have 3 weeks when installed and not issues at all.Just be aware in sone models need to reactive the sensors.Mines are best fit for my Ford edge 2007.Highly recommended.
