PROS: powerful for such a small blender, can crush ice; nice color; very well insulated, keeps contents hot or cold all day; easy to use; includes stainless steel straw and cleaning brushCONS: a little heavy for a portable; hard to clean the lid because of all the nooks and crannies in it; hard to clean the motorized lid, there's not really a good place to grip it while it's wet and covered in slippery soap

This Nutribullet Portable Blender is nice! It looks and feels good quality and well made. This is actually perfect for people that take a while to finish their protein shakes like I do. With a push of a button I can re-blend my shake anytime, anywhere! I also really like the flip top and included stainless steel straw and cleaning brush! Very convenient!

We were so excited for this product have used almost every other neutral bullet product made, and have thoroughly enjoyed them. This broke after the first use.

Nutribullet is the E Ching of small appliances when it comes to blending personal amount of drinks and food. $79.99 for this hand held gem may seem expensive, but you get the brand that holds the quality along with an amazing blend.It's a rechargeable unit, which is amazing. Carry camping or on a beach, add the goodies and blend away, it's amazing. It handles the contents well, even ice. On a single charge, it will blend quit a few times before needed to be recharged.The blending motor attaches to the cup. The cup is metal and light, tho the motor is not. It's a heavy weight. It does have a pop lid to allow pass through of the blended contents, but that adds a good bit of weight. There is also a flip lid that is separate from the motor lid, so this can be added to lighten the load in your hand. There is also a cap to place on the blending blades portion of the motor housing to protect that portion when the motor is removed.The motor has a loop handle. The other lid has a lanyard type of strap on it, which adds a little bit of hold the cup. This really is a great system. Keeps the smoothie cold for hours, tho it doesn't keep it frozen. Works great with little stress. Very happy with its function.The oddity for ours, the green color is a bit weird. Not sure who decided to add this one, but it's and bit odd. Outside of that, it's a great look and feel.

As a portable unit for protein shakes and perhaps an occasional soft fruit smoothie, this is fantastic. If you're looking for something that will smoothly puree hard frozen fruit and ice, you need to keep looking. This will definitely break ice up into little bits, but the bits are still big enough to crunch, which isn't the texture a good smoothie should have. This unit is also quite premium priced, which seems a bit beyond what I would consider reasonable for a powered protein shake blender. Normally I would give it 3 stars, but because the cup is insulated, and seems to keep my shakes quite cold for the full duration of even my longest workouts, I'm going to go with 4, just because that indicates a level of quality and function that none of my other protein shake blenders have ever matched. This unit is definitely sturdy and well built, so I dig that as well. Personally, I think it should be priced about $20-25 lower, and as other reviewers have pointed out, there are a few design issues that could be improved, although I haven't found them to be nearly as big of an issue as some others have, like the charge port being uncovered and so on. You can get a washer specifically made for blender cups for about $30, so if smoothies are your jam, get one. Then wipe down the outside with a Lysol wipe and you're all good. That's pretty straightforward. Overall, I think this is a good product, and if you love cold protein shakes to sip on throughout your workout, this is probably the best one out there for that. But you definitely pay a bit of a price for it, so take that into consideration.
