My Shih Tzu and cats love these mats. I put one on the floor right out of the box. My Shih Tzu without question knew it was for him, and he instantly dove on it, rubbed his head all over it, rolled on it, layed down on it and was there to stay. He just couldn't get enough of the mat. It is so soft and cool to the touch. My cat loves it as well and when my dog walked away and my cat claimed it, my dog Toby stood there next to the mat and looked at him, as he noticed there was no room for him, and it was swiped. I am grateful this is a 4 pack so there is plenty for them both. I take the mat outside because my dog gets hot outdoors. I put it under a bench where he loves to sit to get shade and he just loves this mat, and he chooses to lay on it rather than the ground or outdoor rug.In fact, it is so soft and cool, I thought I would try it and lay it on my pillow. I have long hair. The soft surface seemed to help with tangles. It stayed cool throughout the night. I love this cooling mat, and I wish this company made pillowcases.My fur babies absolutely love these mats and if you are considering these mats, get them.

I'm excited to use these cooling mats this summer for the outdoor community cats I look after here in the Mojave Desert - I may even put one out for my indoor cat since I tend to be conservative in my AC use in summer. These mats are cool to the touch - I noticed it as soon as I pulled them out of the bag. And, my hand started to become cold when I left it sitting on the mat. I'm not yet sure how effective they will be in the sweltering summer heat, but any relief that they can give will be very welcome.These mats do have one tie on one corner of the mat to help secure them. The one change I would make would be to have a tie on two corners that are opposite each other to make them more secure for outdoor use. We get a lot of wind storms here in the desert so in the absence of a 2nd tie, I will have to think of a way to make these more secure when I put them out (possibly by adding a 2nd tie myself).

I’ve seen these cooling pet mat several times across different marketplace platforms from various sellers and I’ve been skeptical about how cooling they are. But over the summer, even with the air on in the car, it does take some time for the car to get cool, and I thought about these cooling mats. So I decided to give this one a chance and I’m so glad I did. When I opened up the package, I instantly noticed how cool the fabric was, it actually felt like it was cold, but it wasn’t like it was cold outside. I haven’t used it yet with my fur child but I have no doubts that it will fail. (I’ll update this review if it doesn’t work in warm/hot weather.) The mat is on the thinner side, so I’m not sure how it’s keeping so cold, and the fabric is smooth so I know my fur baby is going to love it.

I’m so glad I got these. It’s a pack of four and they are a nice size! It feels like a silk pillow case on the top that is nice and cool to the touch. The backside is covered in a mesh material. It feels so silky, soft and cool I decided to put one on my leather recliner to sit on. It keeps me from sweating in my chair and makes it much more comfortable when wearing shorts. I’m going to keep one in my car so when I go out and sit in a chair somewhere I can sit on this and my skin on my legs won’t stick to the chair when I’m wearing shorts. You ladies know what I mean! Oh and my cat likes it too

The fabric is very smooth and soft, two of my cats plopped right down on them within minutes of me putting them down. They're well constructed and have a cute pattern. There isn't any cushion at all, it feels like just a couple layers of fabric plus the net backing.The fabric is cool to the touch, but does warm up after my cat is on one for awhile. I can't say if they're cooler than laying on a different fabric/mat after some time has passed, but the fabric is cool to the touch at first. It will definitely help cool them down when they get on it, and with this 4 pack your cat can move to a different one if the current one gets too warm.There's also two strips/ties on each mat that match the trim, they're attached to one corner from the underside. I'm thinking these might be to hang them to air dry or to attach them all together to make one large mat which is kind of cool. My cats like them, so I'm happy with my purchase.
