These are perfect for Caramel. I make large batches so I need 3 of these molds. My caramels are a bit on the softer side so this is what I do. I pour bubbling hot caramel into the molds working quickly to even out with a bench scraper. (yes it is messy) then let sit for about 1 hour then cover with wax paper and let sit overnight or about 8-12 hours. For me, the caramel will come out of the mold every easy and will for the most part hold its shape but will dent a bit at the bottom. So, after sitting for the 8-12 hours, I place the mold covered into the freezer for about 1-2 hours and then they pop out, keep the exact shape and I can wrap in celo wrappers quite easy without getting all sticky.

These are really big for making caramels. Although they do work well for it, I recommend only filling 1/2 full if you are making caramels! I like to be able to pop a whole caramel in my mouth and if you try to do that with a caramel made in this form you will have a hard time trying to eat it, lol. On the upside, these forms are easy to get caramels out of, and easy to clean! I also purchased the round form, and those are a great size for the caramels! I also like that there are so many spaces on this thing...that's a plus!!

These are amazing. I've been making caramels for years and they would stick in the pan or stick to the paper or foil and when you go to cut them up they are either so cold they're hard to cut or so warm they're gummy. These pans just make that mess all go away. The chilled caramels just pop out of the pans like magic. They are all the same size and they are so easy to wrap from there. I bought two pans which is perfect for the caramel recipe I use.

This is a great product. It is perfect when making caramels. Just pour the hot caramel into the silicone mold and draw across the mold with a pastry scraper. The caramel goes right into the mold and is smooth across the top as you use the pastry scraper. After cooling about 8 hours pop out each individual caramel. I use pre cut cellophane caramel wraps to wrap each caramel and twist each end.

I make amazing homemade caramels, but the hardest part has always been cutting them up evenly - until I bought this silicone caramel mold! I am in LOVE with this product!!! You don’t need to grease (at least not for my soft/firm ball caramel recipe that contains some butter). They set up and pop out of the mold super easy. I also recommend using the Wilton easy pour funnel with this silicone mold. Helps you pour the caramel evenly into the small molds and there’s no sticky mess in the process, since you control the flow with the Wilton brand funnel. Beyond happy with the silocone caramel mold product. Only drawback is the price (I paid $29.99), but I’ve used it so much during the holidays making several batches of caramels that it’s almost easy to forget the steep price for a flimsy piece of silicone. Will watch for a lower price to buy a second and third silicone mold in the future.
