My book stand is a bit tough to move around but it does swirl from side to side allowing me to utilize it to serve my needs. It doesn’t appear to look like something that will break easily. It should serve me for many years to come. If anything changes, I’ll let you know. Thanks

Attaches securely to my stand up desk crating more space on the desk. Very sturdy and doesn’t wobble. Way better than expected.

I bought this book stand because it was the only one I could find that would attach to a table edge and was cantilevered. I use it in my studio, screwed on the the window ledge, and the screw gives enough space to attach to something about 3" deep. I then adjusted its position forwards so I can view my notes across my 3' wide worktable. I work with water, so this also keeps my books dry.The only slight criticisms I have are that - as other reviewers have noted - the flip-up holders for books are not high enough to hold books securely. I'm using the stand for office binders with many pages of notes in sheet protectors, so I'm not very confident I won't knock the binder off the stand. I may be able to insert a taller piece of heavy card or similar to increase the holders' height and the cost of it being easy to turn the pages.Secondly, the 'joints' are extremely stiff and hard to adjust. it takes almost all my strength to open and close them. Maybe a little lubricant will help.Other than that I would definitely recommend this book stand
