Caulking guns have been long overdue for better designs, and this one is. As a builder using such things for decades, this is the best basic one I've ever seen, at any price- and the price is very good for the quality. The way the plunger is designed keeps residual pressure off the contents unless the handle is under pressure, and that is what gives it the non-drip advantage. The built in tube puncture tool is notmal- but the built in tip cutting tool is uncommon and saves time and labor. Built nice, comfortable and the built-in nozzle plug will save a lot of partially used caulk tubes from loss. Excellent product, I think the one to chose.

Compré una Truper y al primer cartucho se rompió y se atoro en la parte de atrás y perdi toda la silicona y con esta está perfecto 💯

La pistola es muy pesada, si quieres usar una mano, despues de un corto rato te cansas. Ademas el gatillo esta exageradamente abierto, necesitas unas manotas para poder jalarlo.

First thing that is super frustrating about other people rating caulking guns is their inability to understand what certain ones are designed for.This is a basic caulking gun with a thrust ratio to allow use with latex and silicone. If you want to use it with other things, you need to look for a more heavy duty caulking gun with a higher thrust ratio.Secondly, a lot of the time, the "drip free" heavily depends on the caulking itself, and not the gun. If you release pressure (which is really simple with this one) that doesn't pull the backing of the caulking tube back as well. So any built up pressure in the tube will push out the contents until there isn't enough pressure to have it "drip" out. Thinner material will mean you will get a drip longer after releasing rod pressure. Release pressure on the gun to lessen the amount of pressure in the tube and always stop putting pressure sooner than you finish your bead to lessen the drip. Because this gun doesn't have the notches, it's really quick to pull back the rod and is A LOT quieter.If you are pushing and the caulking isn't coming out, don't force it. You will either unnecessarily break your tools or have a blowout on the back of the tube. Check that the opening has enough space to allow flow with the thickness of the caulking and make sure there isn't a chunk of hardened caulking in the tube.The padded handle is really nice to have, especially if you don't have rough hands due to constant rough work (again, great for around the house repairs) The metal body is quite thick and doesn't bend easily either.The tip cutter works really well, and having the pin is great when using a tube with puncture foil. I also love that the pin isn't super loose so it doesn't come flying out when using on an angle.Bottom line, it's a really solid caulking gun to have around the house or even on a job site as long as you aren't using it for anything but its intended purpose. Always check the tube itself if it's not pushing out the caulk and never force it with the gun or else you risk the chance of breaking your gun or the tube. Be reasonable and think about the applications. If you want more from your gun, you need to up the quality for a better thrust ration to withstand more pressure.

lo use pero no le entendi .. creo que es buena la intencion.. siguio saliendo silicon algunas veces .. al soltarlo.. quiza su utilidad es para cordon continuo.. como quiera buena presentacion y calidad.. no se si lo volveria a comprar

La he utilizado para labores domésticas aplicando silicón a marcos de metal para adherir policarbonato y en elástico para hacerlo resistente al deslizamiento. En mi experiencia, no tuve goteo en lo absoluto. Con las pistolas económicas que tenía anteriormente tenía un desperdicio de material considerable. Es muy cómoda por su gatillo ergonómico y aplica mucha fuerza al presionar. La compré muy barata en una oferta pero si tuviera que volverla a comprar a un costo mayor, con gusto lo haría. Muy buena herramienta.

Excelente casi no tienes que usar mucha fuerza para presionar el gatillo. La presion ea muy suave y continua lo que permite aplicar un hilo de producto mas uniforme. Cuenta con varilla para destapar las puntas. Tiene gatillo acojinado asi que trabajar con ella es sumamente facil y suave.
