Overall, I'm quite happy with this product. I really wish there were any sort of use instructions besides the 1:1 mix ratio, but it wasn't horribly difficult to figure it out. I let the molds I made with it cure for about a day after pouring, and while they remained quite tacky for a couple days after I took them out of the mold form, they worked well and the stickiness went away in a few days after. The molds I made with is have been working quite well, and I'm satisfied with them

This mold-making kit is a good option for beginners and experienced crafters alike. The 1:1 mixing ratio makes it easy to use, and the flexibility of the cured silicone helps in removing casts without damaging details. However, while the silicone itself is of good quality, the kit does not include instructions or additional tools like measuring cups, which could make things easier—especially for those new to mold-making.My Rubric✅ Good = Qualifies as a selling point➖ So-So = Not great, but also nothing resembling a showstopper❌ Not Good = Could be a showstopperMy star ratings, which tend to skew upward due to limitations in the 5-star system, are further elaborated in a decimalized scoring at the end of the review. Finally, although some items have been freely offered via the Vine system, I refuse to sell out and will never allow a vendor to influence my scoring through any means other than the quality of the product, both on its own and in relation to the current pricing at the time of my review. I value the efforts of other honest reviewers and wish nothing more than to pay their efforts forward in hopes of faithfully guiding others to informed decisions. The Good✅ Easy 1:1 Mixing Ratio – No complicated calculations required. Just mix equal parts of A and B by weight, and you’re good to go.✅ Flexible and Durable – The cured silicone has a nice balance of flexibility and sturdiness, making it easy to remove finished pieces.✅ Captures Fine Details – Great for resin, soap, candles, or other projects requiring intricate molds.✅ Decent Curing Time – Fully sets in under 12 hours at room temperature, which is fairly quick for this type of product.✅ Good Value for the Quantity – The 70oz kit provides enough silicone to create multiple molds. The So-So➖ No Instructions Included – The bottles only mention the mix ratio, so if you’re a beginner, you may need to watch some tutorial videos to learn about mixing, pouring, and curing techniques.➖ No Extra Tools – No measuring cups, mixing sticks, or gloves included. Not a deal-breaker, but you’ll need to provide your own supplies.➖ Not Food-Grade – Suitable for resin, wax, and soap, but not safe for food molds.➖ A Bit Unforgiving – I have experienced minor issues with parts of the silicone staying tacky, possibly due to inconsistent mixing. Careful stirring is essential. The Not-Good❌ None to report yet.The DetailsThis mold-making kit is a solid option for those looking to create their own custom molds, but it does require some preparation. The 1:1 mixing ratio keeps things simple, and the silicone captures fine details well. However, the lack of included instructions and basic tools means that beginners may need to do some extra research before diving in. The curing time is reasonable at around 12 hours, and the finished molds are flexible yet durable. One common issue seems to be occasional tacky spots in the final cure, which could be due to improper mixing. To avoid this, mix thoroughly and scrape the sides of your container to ensure an even blend. If you’re new to mold-making, watching a few instructional videos beforehand will help you get the best results. For the price, you get a generous amount of silicone, making this a good value if you’re planning multiple projects. While not perfect, it’s a solid choice—just be ready to supply your own mixing tools and do a bit of homework before getting started.Final Rating: 4.4/5

This silicone was easy to measure and mix. It cured perfectly, and held detail well. I was able to make a mold of my diffraction grating, without good detail retention, it wouldn't make the diffraction effect on the epoxy piece I cast with it. But this silicone is very good at detail retention. It didn't have any spots that failed/bubbled. I degassed one of my molds and the other I didn't. I can't see any difference in the two. Which tells me the silicone degassed itself perfectly fine and doesn't need to go in a vacuum chamber like other silicones. It did react with plasticine though. Keep in mind you have to buy a plasticine that contains no sulfur. If you use one with sulfur, it will keep it from curing and It'll stay sticky

This silicone mold making kit is easy to use. The silicone cures thoroughly as long as you mix properly. I mixed 1:1 ratio by weight and degassed in a degassing vacuum chamber. My molds turned out perfect. This does not have any direction but I followed the same process as u do with other mold making kits which is 1:1 by weight and mix for 3-5 minutes ( I usually lean more towards 5 minutes to ensure it is mixed well) then I degas it which is generally not something you have to do, I just choose to do this because i have the equipment and it has worked well for me. The molds are reusable and this is a good value

This is great stuff. I used to make some molds for epoxy resin, and it's worked perfectly so far! It is simple to mix up, and I've made about 5 baseball-sized molds so far, so you get a solid amount! It seems to be holding very well also, I've used a couple of the molds 3-4 times now with zero issues! Very happy with this overall!
