Literally the quietest fan I’ve ever heard! It’s beautiful and works wonderfully, but the light is very dim even on the brightest setting so it’s definitely not good in an already dark room.

The fan light in the living room of my house has been used since I bought the house. It has been more than ten years old and still has a light bulb installed. The new one I bought is LED, which is very energy-saving and can be installed by an adult. This fan is white and the house looks very clean. The house was dark before.

I installed this fan and was impressed with the build quality. However it has a limitation when it comes to home automation.1. When the wall switch is turned on, the fan light comes on. I brought a "fan", not a ceiling light. There is no way to change the default state to "fan motor turn on".2. The remote control is NOT Infrared it's Bluetooth, and 2.4ghz RFWhy on earth would you use Bluetooth? This means you CANNOT use a IR/RF blaster to send signals from the blaster to the fan via Alexa.3. Because the remote/controller device is only Bluetooth and 2.4ghz, you are forced to use the fan's remote or your cellphone to control the fan. Thus it's impossible to turn your fan/light on remotely, or via voice activation.4. There is no Alexa skill that works with the fan that I could find. I wrote the company, requesting assistance. Conclusion: If you want a simple ceiling light with fan blades, and no home automation integration, buy this fan. It's a well made appliance. If you want to control the fan via Alexa, there is no solution, yet. There are better choices for the same price point out there that support Alexa. Make sure you know for sure the fan comes with a compatible IR or RF remote and fan controller module if you want to integrate the fan into your home automation environment.I am a little disappointed in my purchase as I never would have assumed the fan would be Bluetooth controlled.UPDATE:The company reached out to me and confirmed there is no solution to link it to Alexa...yet. But they are working on it.To be fair, after a few days of using the fan, I am getting used to using the Fanlamp Pro app to control the fan.I actually just brought another one of these fans as I received several compliments from other people who stopped by my house. As mentioned earlier, its a high quality appliance. Hopefully in time they will change out the controller such that the fan can connect to Alexa. Finally, I am very impressed with their great customer service. They definitely stand behind their product.I hope my review will be helpful to other clients.

Fan quit working after a month. Had to hire an electrician to install the fan now have to hire one again to take down. Overall that cost more than the fan. Reached out to Amazon. They promised a refund, so far nothing.
