The numbers don't wear off and the frosted material makes it easy to see the markings even on dark fabrics.

I like that the seam allowance is added to the side. The frosted plastic sticks better so it does not slide when cutting.

Great size. Easy to read and use.The” frost” helps keep the ruler from moving when cutting !

I started using this ruler immediately upon receiving it! I love that it is not COVERED with numbers in every space possible. After a couple decades of quilting and using rotary rulers, I can pretty much tell at a glance where the half, quarter and inch lines are without numbers EVERYWHERE covering where I need only tiny LINES. I LOVE this ruler for that fact right off the bat!!I can put that measurement LINE (that has no huge number blocking it) right on the edge of my fabric and cut away. There are numbers on the ruler, do not misunderstand what I am saying. It is just that they are not huge and redundantly placed all over the ruler.I know that 5 1/2 is the larger line between the 5 and 6 inch lines, I do not need MORE numbers to tell me what that line is! I like the small numbers I can double check myself after placing the ruler on the fabric, at a glance. Simple and clean is how I would best describe the markings. Not over done which I certainly appreciate.The 2nd thing I noticed and love about this ruler which is different then my previous favorite ruler is the "Feel" of it.The ruler has a coating of some type on it. I have no idea what it is, but it is a GOOD coating!This is what keeps the ruler from sliding all over your fabric when you place it down. It is NOT sticky, nor it it just in certain spots. The entire ruler is coated so it does not slide or shift around and you do not have to stand on it to get a clean cut.Whatever it is "frosted" with makes it stay put and when you press and make your cut, it does not SHIFT ! Now if you put more layers of fabric then are recommended you can and probably will get shift ! But, used correctly I have yet to have any shift occur while I have been cutting with this ruler. I generally cut just 2 layers at a time.This ruler was packaged with a few other things I ordered. It arrived safe and sound. I was sealed in a saran wrap type wrapping, with a label over the plastic wrap.Nothing was stuck to it that required washing or rubbing off which was nice. I could instantly plop it onto a strip of fabric and check out how it felt.Overall, I am delighted with this ruler, it is the first of the "Frosted" line that I have purchased. I have nothing negative to say about it. I am a very satisfied customer.
