Nice looking artificial olive tree

This is nice enough but for the price I think it’s a bit skimpy. I placed it in the corner of my living room that I absolutely couldn’t stand because it’s a wire pit and what I call the ugliest corner of my living room, so it helps with drawing the eye up from the floor of cords and all that mess upwards to the tree. However the tree is skimpy and only 5 feet tall so I have it temporarily standing on a box that raises it up 13 inches more, I also added fairy lights and some glass baubles to the branches to give it a little more umph. So for now it’s doing it’s job . It comes in a pot that is sturdy on it’s own and it’s very easy to assemble because it’s only two pieces that you stick the top of the tree to the bottom of the tree and fluff the branches. Eventually I might actually buy a plant stand and a pretty ceramic pot to put it in and will probably move it to the corner of my bedroom, because I really want a room divider decorative folding screen for that problem corner of my living room.

I was pretty excited about getting this tree, particularly with its double trunk. And the trunk looks great.Unfortunately, the branches and leaves let it down, with neither being of the best quality I've seen in these faux olive trees, of which I now have several all from different sellers.This is the first one of those where I've had the 'branchlets' fall off while gently trying to fluff it back out post-crammed-into-shipping-box. Unlike similar products, the smaller branches don't seem to be fully secured to the main branches, they'll slide up and down the branches pretty easily - or come off in your hand.The branches are also made of thinner/cheaper plastic than similar trees, without the more realistic coloring other makers provide, and much less ability to stay in whatever position you want them when shaping the tree.The leaves are thinner and less willing to cooperate in being smoothed out from the crushed/twisted look they've acquired during shipping.This tree also came in the smallest pot I've seen with these trees, despite it being one of the tallest I've gotten so far, and not giving me a whole lot of confidence in its ability to stay upright should one of the pups brush against it.Overall, I expected more for the price. It's cute enough in a corner of the room where it's not a focus of attention, but up close it doesn't look as nice as the others I have. The pampas grass was a nice bonus, but I'd much rather have had the money for that go into making a nicer tree.
