Awesome container for my bacon grease. I love that it has a strainer. Its simple to clean and so cute in my kitchen 😍

I ordered this Oil Pot, because I do a lot of deep frying and I end up leaving the oil in my frying pan, because it can be used again, if it isn’t burnt. I would run a small skimmer basket around the edges of the pan to get out any leftover chunks. Now, I use this pot with the included skimmer, to get out the particles and the oil is stored in the stainless steel pot until I want to use it again. It has a nice large handle. It has a wire basket, so things can be fried right in the pot. I haven’t tried that, because I like to fry a larger amount at one time, so I use my frying pan. The listing says to hand wash this pot, but it is made from 304 Stainless Steel (it is molded with 304 on the bottom). I ran it through my dishwasher, like I do with all my stainless pots and pans. It came out clean and shiny, with no rust. I’m so happy to be able to strain the used oil, with the included skimmer and sore it in the pot, with a lid to keep out dust and bugs. It’s a nice heavy duty pot.

I'm in love with my new oil filter and cannot wait for the moment I have enough oil to do a quick deep fry on the stove! The handle for pouring, filter, and lid are all great touches and the stainless steel makes for easy cleaning. This filter pot is so versatile in both function and storage; I don't see myself being able to find a better filter pot anytime soon.
