So, I bought this for my 1993 Corvette. The filter on the top of the page said it fit, and the ad even mentioned Corvette in the opening paragraph. After waiting a week for it to arrive, I quickly discovered that it has a 1/4 NPT fitting on the bottom. My Corvette uses a 1/8 inch NPT sensor. I went to 3 different stores looking for an adapter. No luck. On the way out of Home Depot, it occurred to me that my spray gun uses a quick disconnect fitting that might work. I purchased one for $3. I cut the fitting a bit shorter, stuck it in the lathe to turn down the circumference and used a 1/8 pipe die to cut the threads. Worked great!Why not just send it back and get the right one? What, and wait another week to drive my Corvette? No. The gauge now reads what it should and I don't have to wait again.

wasnt fun replacing once , now I have to do it again. did it again and I have oil pressure while cranking but want stay running.. stps as soon as I let off key so now im thinking it killed fuel pump. spend the extra money and get OEM. 2Xs of changing it, my arms aint happy, going for the third time with something different. buying 2 was just double the trouble.
