My experience is similar to others:- This was the cheapeset m.2 reader/cloner I found.- It gets HOT.- It does work to clone as a stand alone - press the button as the instructions say, then the lights start bliniking 25%, 50%, 75%.... the process went quickly - 15-25 minutes or so.- The hiccup was that the instructions say "all LEDs will be SOLID when the clone is complete".- This was not my experience. After 60 minutes it was still flashing "100%"... so I left it alone overnight. In the morning it was still flashing "100%", so I pulled the plug.- It DID fully clone regardless of still flashing "100%".- It cloned per definition - it didn't "clone and enlarge". It cloned a 500GB drive as a 500GB image on the new 2TB drive.- You'll need additional software to enlarge the Windows partition after cloning to claim the extra space. Or just use your preferred software to image or software clone from the smaller to larger disk bypassing the stand alone hardware clone feature altogether.Overall I'm pleased with the cost and results, despite the quirks.

Los SSD quedan en una posición a 45 grados que no me convence, por el precio no vale la pena solo la función de copiar fuera de linea m, termine regresando el producto

I have tried this twice both times it just sits there and appears to never finish. I ended up using the 2nd M.2 on the motherboard with Paragon software to image the original drive.I would return it, but it's outside the return time. Oh well just another worthless piece of junk. Another problem is that it requires a larger capacity target drive.Follow Up on cloner, Seller contacted me after my review and offered me a full refund. I have many devices manufactured by them and this is my first problem. I am updating my review of this product. I am changing it from 1 star to 3 stars because of how they handled my situation. I understand not every product sold performs as it should. I might buy another one the next time I need to clone a nvme. But the next time I will use it immediately.Thank you for great after sale support.

I've been in the information technology field for many years, and I can unequivocally say that this is the most hazardous product I have ever encountered. The initial setup was deceptively simple, lulling me into a false sense of security. Although the cloning process was somewhat cumbersome, I left the device unattended for a short period. Upon my return, I was shocked to find that the unit had reached an alarmingly high temperature. The scalding heat it emitted was not just uncomfortable, it was downright dangerous.I firmly believe that had I left this device plugged in overnight, it would have posed a significant fire risk. A review of other customer experiences confirmed my worst fears: this is not an isolated incident. The fact that this item continues to be sold is, at best, negligent and, at worst, criminally irresponsible.I cannot emphasize enough the safety risks associated with this product. Potential buyers should exercise extreme caution.

Cloning my M.2 SSDs was a quick and easy process! Did a good job, I did encounter issue with file integrity, but I think it may be a windows thing, otherwise this unit initialized the target drive, cloned the old drive and did it's job.Warning, just like all the other reviews, this thing gets hot, like real hot! Be careful handling after cloning.I don't intend to use as an external drive, but that exists also.

Works great. Duplicated a 2TB Samsung 870 Evo Plus in 40 minutes! As many folks have mentioned, it does get ridiculously hot during duplication. This shouldn't hurt the drives as they are designed to throttle down if they get too hot, it's just something to be wary of. Don't touch it while it's running, place it on a flat, fireproof surface and maybe put a fan over it just to keep the heat down a bit. Very happy with the results, this is a great device!
