Not worth the money it is basically just an upgraded head strap as the Battery never stayed charged long enough like it was supposed to. USB-C cable charging port broke not even 2 months into having it. Used as it was supposed to and charged properly.

Having used the Quest 3 headstrap with its integrated battery for over a week, I’ve grown quite fond of the comfort it provides. However, the battery performance leaves much to be desired. While the headset appears to charge when idle, the battery struggles to keep up with the power demands during use. Despite the charging indication, the Quest 3's battery gradually drains, unable to maintain a consistent charge while in operation. For a seamless experience, I'd recommend a more robust battery solution — ideally one rated between 18W-20W, offering 5V/3A, and equipped with QC/PD technology — to keep the Quest 3 headset fully charged and functioning optimally during use.

When I got the first strap I was so excited, only to be disappointed as the knob in the back would not stay secure. I assumed that it would be a defect, and therefore did a replacement order. I waited for a replacement, but still tested this one. The strap is very comfortable. The cushion for the top feels great as does the back portion that hugs the back of your head. I got the second unit and was pleasantly surprised to see that it works perfectly. The knob in the back would turn and click and hold its position (as twisting knob straps should). The battery life is significantly boosted well. In my current estimations, it would appear that I can get 6 hours of playtime out of the headset before it shuts down. Defects happen with every product, so I thought it would be unfair to judge it based off one headset out of hundreds. I’m glad that I did just that and absolutely recommended for the money.

This product couldn't help but have no reviews to give it a sense of agency that it being a plastic and material item does not actually possess, being as it came out on the launch day of the new headset that it is designed for. So by it's very nature. I had to take a chance on getting this one because nobody had used it yet because it just came out the day I bought it. And I haven't left an Amazon review for a while, but I feel compelled to do so for anybody on the fence about this because there's no reviews. It's a very solid item. You can turn off the funny bonus lights if you want to save your battery, but it's nice to have the option to be lit up. Photons are cool. I was really nervous about installing this because I could see the speakers and ports built into the hinges and crap part of the headset but it is really not hard at all. I did it while looking after a 3-year-old and a one-year-old and working two jobs. I was going to wait till after work to do it but it was really easy. So if you're scared, you'll break your device. Just as long as you exercise caution, you should have no problem at all. I'm like a total dolt at doing useful things and I was able to do it with no problems and a nice sense of accomplishment for having accomplished a slightly involved physical task, so that was nice.It fits very well. It's super adjustable. It feels so much more natural and comfortable than the one that comes with it. The battery is a giant 8000 m ampoules or whatever they make. I know it's MA and I think it's mega amps but that sounds insane. Maybe because I play guitar mega amp sounds way more intense than what it I'm trying to refer to. But whatever that unit of measurement that measures the capacity of a battery to hold an electrical charge, it is much higher than anybody's cell phone or anything like that 8000s a lot. I wish my vape device had an 8000 MA battery instead of like 900 but we take what we can getI got this in a little silicone cover for the facial interface so I didn't sweat it to death before I even had it a day and these two things are very good additions. I can't imagine not having the extra battery life that this gives you. It's really nifty how you just charge this battery and it charges your headset the whole time. It's a nice deal and I feel a lot better about my new headset with this comfortable thing and plus when my son who is a fourth, my age is 10 when he wants to play it. It's so much easier to just be able to tighten the knobs slightly and then he can go to town and they have to fiddle with the velcro straps and stuff and his friend came over and dropped my old one right on the ground within the first 2 minutes of playing cuz when he took it off it fell off the back of his head and it's just like I'm so sick of kids using the fact that the straps that they come with are crap as an excuse to drop expensive hardware on the ground. I'm not saying my kids do that but guests tend to. They all want to play the headset and they all treat it like crap.So if you have kids make sure they have classy friends or better yet no friends so nobody can affect your stuff without your permission. No I'm just kidding. But yeah good good strap. Very comfy

One of the more comfortable straps that I have used. Fits the Quest 3 well. You have the option of turning the leds on or off and it charges the Quest right through the battery pack when recharging. It seems to be a Quest 2 strap retro fit at the hinge.
