The OttLite Story
In 1989 Dr. John Nash Ott founded OttLite Technologies to bring the power of natural daylight indoors through his one-of-a-kind natural daylight bulb. Great portable light. Illumination is perfect for small projects. And the wavelength is color correct.

I needed a light for a crafting event on a Caribbean cruise in February 2025. This light was perfect! It takes AAA batteries that doesn't come with it, no problem. I used the case it was packaged in to keep it from being damaged in my checked luggage. The hardest part was cutting into the surrounding plastic. Once opened, insert the batteries and easy to use. Just lift the light and it comes on. Sleek looking. Now I can have an extra light wherever I need, very versatile and light weight. Take extra batteries just in case. Love it!! No more cords!!

This provides good light for small projects, especially when working at a table. Portable, no need to plug in. Have yet to see how long the batteries last, but, for temporary additional lighting for close work, this works well.

folds up and fits into my scrapbooking back. Battery operated to works well when at a Crop with limited access to electrical outlets. Gives me just enough extra light to be able to put together colours for my scrapbooking.

Cumple su función, aunque no estoy seguro que sea luz correctiva, almenos este modelo, da un tono cálido sobre las cosas.Como odontologo pensaba en ella para toma de color. Pero los leds amarillos dan otro efecto

its a powerful little light which throws light a little more condensed than I wanted. It was also not what I expected - alot smaller than my other ott lites and it is battery operated (which I did not notice in the description). I use it daily so wanted a plug in. A good light for someone who needs the transportability
