A bit on the big side for a belly ring, and it's kind of heavy, but i really like it. It matches perfectly with an amethyst bracelet i purchased. It's exactly as picture. I like it a lot!!

So I didn’t see anything like this in the reviews before when I bought it, but the bottom stone is a lot bigger than what you would expect. It covers up your whole belly button hole. It is slightly uncomfortable. If I had known how big it was honestly I would’ve gotten it. However that being said it is beautiful. So it just depends on whether or not you want the dragons claw or how bad you want it. They gave me a free belly ring with two pearls on it. I ended up wearing that one all the time now. It’s much more comfortable and less heavy

Excuse my skin where my peircing is,, its perpetually bruised this color because I've had my navel repeirced through scar tissue 4 times(2x because issue with the peircing being to high or crooked, 1x because pregnancy i took it out,, and 1x because weight loss. Honestly I love this!! I had to tweak it a little, as in I used pliers to help unscrew the bottom ball and moved both balls to the longer navel ring post I had. I also squeezed the claws slightly so they're holding the amethyst stone in place even better. It was holding just fine but im extra cautious because I love this ring so much!!. THE BOTTOM BALL DOES UNSCREW it just takes using pliers to hold the post and unscrew the ball, because it's on there super super well.

UPDATED AGAIN 10/06/2020 I have my belly button pierced for over 20 years. I had to take this out, as my navel was becoming red and inflamed. I have NEVER had a piece of jewelry irritate my very old, well healed piercing. I don't have any known metal allergies.UPDATED 09/27/2020... As I feared, the metal on the claws is not stainless steel. I purchased on 09/14/2020 and the claws are no longer silver, they are bronze or copper. And, turning my skin green. I still love the design. the barbell appears to be stainless Steele. It is comfortable to wear and does not snag. I will probably just try to paint the claws because I really love the design.ORIGINAL REVIEW: It's beautiful. I just received this purple dragon claw navel jewelry today and I love it. I tried to capture it well in the photos, but it does photograph darker than it looks in person. With a light shining behind, you can really see the purple hue. It is true to size for a 14 Guage, as compared to my previously worn jewlery. It weighs 4 grams, not too heavy for my belly button. The top screws off, the bottom does not. The balls appear securely held by the claws. I do not feel any sharp or pokey edges to it. It is sitting comfortabley next to my skin. It seems to be true stainless. As of right now, I give it a 5 star. If I begin having skin irritation or the jewelry begins to tarnish, I will update my review.
