It took a long time for the product to arrive from overseas. It's definitely high quality and waterproof. My hat size is 7 3/8 and this XL can be pulled down to my ears. The XL I purchased is loose when it sits on my head where a hat normally sits; I wanted that fit to give me the option of wearing a merino wool beanie while hiking in the snow or rain. Perfect. It's stylish too; no problem wearing this around town. The brim is a perfect length; just a tad longer than I'm used to with a "bucket hat" design, which takes it out of the 'dorky' looking hat category.

Couldn't say enough things about this hat. It's light weight, so my head doesn't get sweaty. I can wad it up and toss it in the bottom of my bag and it comes right back to shape when needed. The rim is as pictured, so it won't fully protect your face or neck in a downpour or when the winds blow the rain at an angle, but it's great for the constant drizzle we have in Seattle. The little strap is just the right size to not dig into your skin when the wind blows and it keeps the hat in place perfectly. Plus it's adorable in pink. Love love love it.

I walk my dogs rain or shine, and this hat is the perfect thing to wear on those wet, rainy days. I especially like the string with the clasp that is adjustable, so when the winds come as well, the hat stays put. It also looks great and is of very good quality.
