I bought this for metal detecting the beach. It allows the sand to fall through and keep the good stuff in the pouch. Very sturdy and the belt loop is very convenient. Well made. Worth the price. Very handy for what I wanted it for.

This exceeded my expectations. My smb comes unfurled almost every trip. This will help keep on place plus room for a little flashlight. Super pleased w this purchase!

Pouch is actually much larger than I was expecting. It can store large items. Quality looks and appears durable for many dives to come.

Surface Marker Buoys can be problematic to store or extract from BCD pockets if you don't use a backplate/wing setup. This pouch easily holds a 6 foot SMB and spool and can be clipped to a D-ring or threaded to a harness or weight belt. The velcro is secure without being too problematic to open. The plastic d-ring on the lid provides good grip and tactile indexing. The drainage mesh is a nice touch as well.Things I like:-size-bright orange color (especially good for "loaner gear")-velcro closureThings I don't like:-excessive logoing-belt loop requires unthreading of weight pouches/weights-no keepers suppliedAll told, it's good for occasional or loaner use.

Easy to attach and help organize spool, smb, etc to keep things from dangling while diving.
