These salt and pepper shakers arrived just as pictured. They appear to be sturdy and durable. I like how you can twist the lid and close the holes or select larger or smaller holes.

These are excellent.The glass part is dishwasher safe, the plastic parts and stainless steel parts are easily handwashed. There are many nooks and crannies but so far I haven't had to chase anything down with a toothpick or anything, it just washes clean.You can adjust the shaker with one hand, it's a little tricky with smaller hands but doable! The shaker has three options: closed, normal, and a lot. I am currently only using one of them for standard iodized table salt and it works very well. I have not oversalted anything, much to my delight! I also appreciate that the closed position has so far kept moisture from clumping the salt. Our previous salt shaker tried to do this, but failed.I wish it didn't use any plastic, but less plastic than our previous shaker is still a win, especially since now the salt is touching the glass container most of the time and only touches plastic when dispensed. Could be worse. Could be better, but honestly, I'm pretty happy with it.

Love these shakers. The adjustable holes allow for customization. Especially good for my husband who has limited dexterity.
