This has changed how my son is able to identify his feelings, it is a great tool to encourage self control.

My 2 year old toddler has started hitting and throwing. I thought it would be good to help her learn to express her feelings. I looked at Generation Mindful and decided to just get these posters and the matching flip book. I got the smaller sized posters and when putting them on the wall it’s not overwhelming and the perfect size for our space. I was worried they would just be paper but they have a laminate on them. My toddler even took a pen to them and it came off with a magic eraser. I like the colors and that it came with both posters. The Wheel of Choices has good options and seem easy enough for her to understand. The little monsters are good colors. When we talked about it and I introduced it to her she listened for a bit and understood the easy emotions - happy and sad. The other ones she has trouble comprehending what they are and what they mean. Some of them are just hard to explain to someone so little. I wish I had a guidebook of explaining the meaning of them to her. She’s slowly starting to get it. She does think that Disappointed and Sad are the same though. The monsters look similar. I had looked at different sets and went with the monsters, compared to kid faces or emojis bc I thought they could help convey being extra animated compared to a kid face. I’m not sure I still feel the same on that and might go with kid faces if I did it again (and not the emojis). This is probably better for a little bit older toddler (3-4 years old maybe) who has more of a grasp on emotions to understand what the monsters mean.

This was a gift for, my soon to be, two year old granddaughter. It is bright, colorful and easy to read. We look at, she gets to decide how she is feeling at the moment and why. It is a great way to teach young children about their all important feelings. I recommend this product.

I bought "my mood" and "my choices" posters for my 4yr old son. He has extreme impulse controll and emotional control issues. We have only had this item for a few days, but so far it has been helping. He can use the images to figure out how he feels and pick the action he want to do from the choices list for that emotion. It has work in a few situations before he could get too out of hand. Best thing i have bought recently. I completely recommend it for any household with children.

I was very pleased with the two posters. Very colorful . And laminated. Useful for my 3 year old grandson who doesn't read yet.
