I was always concerned about the hygiene of traditional straws, realizing that I do not know what's inside - a clean surface or a thick layer of black mold. With these straws my concerns are gone - just open them, put on the top rack of the dishwasher, and they're clean inside and out. Great stuff.

I love these straws, they ae able to open so I can wash them in the dishwasher and make sure that we don't have any mold or anything nasty in the middle of them, unlike the metal straws that we used first. I still have those, but those mandate washing by had first because you can't see what is on the inside. I don't want to gross anyone out, but with the metal straws I once used it to drink water...which then tasted funny, so I immediately washed the inside of the metal straw by hand and was horrified by what I saw. No idea how the inside of the straw turned that color. That has not been an issue with these. I have not had any issues with leaking and I've had these for almost a year.Now the downsides: they are pretty bulky to account for the open/close piece and to still have large enough interior area so you can actually get some drink. That means these do not really fit in the hole for the lids for mugs like my Yetis without getting squished - if at all. They are also floppy enough that they do not do a good job mixing drinks if you use a lot of ice, which I always do.

Much easier to clean than normal straws but are fairly thick, so not necessarily approved by little kids

Son exactamente como se describen, quedan un poco ajustados en Stanley pero funcionan, se pueden limpiar fácilmente y cierran perfecto de nuevo.

Perfectos para todo, lo único malo es que no se pueden doblar mucho pero su limpieza es práctica, y son rígidos

These straws are absolutely perfect. The size makes it easy to use in all my cups. They are flexible and very durable. I love that when you take a drink that the straw is not overly hard it has a softer feel to it. The fact that the straws are so easily cleanable is what really sold me on this product. Overall i am extremely pleased with these straws a the price for them was amazing.
