I mainly bought this because I live in an older building in an apartment and I tend to get nats or fruit flies that come up from my kitchen drains. When I keep my drain closed with this product, it works like a charm. It's a seasonal thing and it always happens every single year so I'm really glad that I stumbled across this. I think it's really high quality product. Is pretty cool that it has a silicone surrounding if you have bigger drains, but I took mine off because my drain is a little bit smaller, even my garbage disposal. And speaking of that, when it smells pretty icky coming from the garbage disposal, I will close the drain by pushing it in from this product, and fill it with water along with some good smelling soap. Then pop it open and turn on the garbage disposal so that way it makes it odor go away. So as far as that's concerned that has a great seal and holds the water extremely well. As far as installation, there really isn't any. You either take the seal off or keep it on and put it in your sink over your drain. So there's nothing to it. Another thing I use it for is when I am draining tuna, broccoli, or cauliflower and it picks up every morsel that is in the sink. I think this is a great product and if you have any situation like mine, I highly suggest purchasing it because it is well worth cost for this product.

These strainers are the best I have ever had. So easy to use and clean.Update: I had to quit using these as they wouldn't stay in place and the centers are so high that every time I sat a pot or dish in the sink it stopped up the sink. I have a double sink so it was when I had a big plate or pan I had to take the drainer out so my sink would still drain. What a pain they are. Wasted my money.

I actually love this sink stopper. It is very durable and is not flimsy at all! The suction is strong and fits a regular sink. It is easy to use and cleans off easily as well. All you need to do is press at the center to use it as per your need. Definitely recommend this product!
