It's just insulation. It insulates. There isn't a lot of detail to give on that. But it's easy to use if you aren't in a super tight place. The price was good.

had problems with freezing pipes. Put a pipe heater tape on it and covered it with this stuff, problem gone.

Came quickly and was easy to work with. No longer worry about freezing water pipes. Saves a plumbers charge on repairs.

I got a 2 pack of this insulation and it was terrible!!! I needed something like this to wrap some outdoor pipes then cover it with foil tape. The yellow insulation literally fell apart and turned to dust! The foil backing was a joke. 1 roll was the width of the insulation (as advertised) but the other roll was maybe a half inch wide! It was an outdoor project and the wind was blowing a little so when the insulation fell off the foil backing and literally fell apart…it went everywhere!! In my eyes, all in my clothes, my skin. By the time I got it wrapped on the pipes it was pretty much just the foil backing! You would be better off buying normal house insulation and cutting it into the sizes you need. I would never buy this crap again and I do not recommend this product to anyone. It’s awful!!
