Good quality and cheapest option for these boards next to printing your own

The cases worked for me but I had to use the smaller batteries, I did order shorter antenna. It is tight fit but they worked well. For the newbies order these cases for your first Heltec v3 projects.

I have a couple of Heltec LoRa V3 boards running Meshtastic and I wanted to put them in portable cases. The MakerHawk N30 case is a nice choice. It holds the board securely and it is quite compact. It is a little hard to open but if you are careful you can pry it open without breaking it.My issue was finding a battery that fits in this small case. The listing does not give the maximum dimensions of the battery and just says that the MakerHawk 950, 1000 and 1100 mAh batteries fit. Well MakerHawk sells several sizes of these battery capacities and I ordered a few that did not fit. The video included with the listing gives the maximum dimensions of the battery. I included a screenshot from the video that shows the dimensions as 41.35*24.99*10.15mm. It would be nice if this was not buried in a video that is hard to find. I included a screenshot of the listing on Amazon for the 1100 mAh MakerHawk battery that fits.Once I got batteries that fit the assembly was easy and I am happy with the case, although I have to say that 1100 mAh only gives about 8 hours of power to a Heltec V3 running Meshtastic so if you want longer runtime you should consider a bigger case or a RAK Wisblock board.
