I have used similar thermometers in our fridge and freezer for years. I needed a couple for our RV fridge. These work great just as expected.I like them.

I have a good fridge and it tells me what the temp is digitally. I think it is pretty accurate since I don't have issues with food going bad quickly...almost never really. I tested these thermometers in that fridge. I put them on the top shelf half way back and it showed the temp was right at 40 and one showed about 41. Not great for a fridge. I moved them to a new spot and there is a two point difference between them setting next to each other. I did lower the temp in my fridge and these thermometers don't really reflect that change either. They showed about 38-39 when I moved them to a lower shelf but over night it didn't change after lowering the temp of the fridge. So these are ok but I just use that temp as a gauge. I would mostly use these in the garage fridge. I feel that the temp on my fridge is pretty accurate. I don't have any other way to test them other than the fridge temp (it is digital). The price is great.
