I'm using these to preserve ephemera and personal correspondence that is over 100 years old which I'm offering for sale on my eBay store. I find that they work quite well for this purpose being quite durable.

I haven't used legal-size paper for any documents in decades, but there are still a few out there so these will be helpful in protecting and segregating those old-style or antique artifacts without having to fold and crease them.They are translucent so you can see the contents and thumb-tabbed for easy access.Interesting mystery - At first I thought the little cut-out at the bottom right corner was just a defect in this sleeve - except they all have that "feature". Maybe the company will explain its purpose in future product descriptions.
