These are the perfect ankle socks for my little ones. I ordered 4-7t and feel the run on the smaller side so size up. The socks have good grip on the bottom side and sit at the ankle (covering it). The added height on the back helps with a finished look, prevents sliding off, makes it easy for my toddler to put on the socks, and best of all the grip at the bottom means my little ones can run around without slipping/falling. Held up nicely to wash and dryer. The size 4-7t fits my avg sized 4 year old ant max and also my avg size almost 3 year old more comfortably with room to grow. Overall good quality socks that will get a lot of use.

Wow, I am impressed that these socks stayed on my son all day! Usually he manages to kick off his socks or pull them off. I think this must be the perfect length for not being able to pull off (to be fair, the top of these socks lands right where my chubby little guy has ankle rolls). They wash up well (I washed with "free and clear" detergent and warm water, dried on low heat) and come in a nice variety of colors. I love the grippy soles because they prevent my son from slipping as he's trying to learn to walk. These socks come in a nice-looking gift box, so I would consider them "giftable".
