So thrilled to find straws that are long enough for my taller insulated mugs. I needed these large diameter straws for thick smoothies that were long enough. These absolutely fit the bill. I can band them down to screw the lid on until I’m ready to use and they pop right up and I’m good to go.Colors are nice tho not important as I wanted the function. Great value too, since they wash easily for reuse.

Four of the straws are clear, firm and sturdy, and the other four are pastel colors, and made of soft silicone.They are all quite long, but the silicone straws can be trimmed with scissors. The diameter of the straw is bigger than your average straw making it nice for drinking water or thicker drinks like smoothies.I prefer straws that have a band in them. I thought that's what I was ordering, but these were all straight.I took pictures for comparison next to my 40 ounce drinking cup. You can see that they are quite long.Overall really good reusable straws.
