I received this tracker 10 days ago. Over the course of 10 days I went from hating it, to liking it, to loving it. The tracker does work very well, but the software has its quirks.The Google find my device app has an interface flaw that makes it difficult to share the tags location. In order to share The tags location, the app must be restarted twice by the person receiving the share request.If you are in an area with limited Wi-Fi signal, turning off your Wi-Fi actually improves the accuracy of the app.The tracker itself is reliable and is durable enough to stand up to my German Shepherd.The sound it emits is somewhat muted by the rubber tag holder, and it takes concentration to hear it. My dog hears the tone quite well, and I have taught him to return to me when he hears the tone.The use of the pebble bee app, made setup easy, and I accomplished this within minutes.One of the reasons why I went with the Pebble bee tracker, was the rechargeable battery. The charging cable is extremely small and it will be the first thing I lose. I keep it in the drawer with the dog's collar and leash. As far as battery life itself, I can't comment on that whereas it's only been 10 days.As I stated earlier, I originally disliked this device and had planned on returning it. Over the course of 10 days I have learned how to use the device and the app to optimize its performance. On a recent walk, the tracker was accurate within about 100 feet. Using it as a tracker for my dog, 100 ft accuracy, is more than enough.I would recommend this to any one using an Android device. But, give it a chance while you figure it out. It's well worth it.

I bought this for my backpack and love it. I haven't had a huge ability to test it but if i open the map it shows it consistently and the beep is loud. I also haven't had to charge it in some time already. I love that when i do the batter is built in.

It works great for more dense areas, but if the tracker needs to go anywhere more rural, the only device that will update it's location is your phone, not any others in the "Find My Device" network.This is likely due to the default android option of "Find your offline devices" option defaulting to "With network in high-traffic areas only". Which is quite a bummer. It's likely that way by default for all Android phones to prevent nefarious tracking, but still also puts these trackers at a disadvantage to AirTags, for example.By all means, though, it's better or equivalent to anything else currently available in the Android "Find My Device" ecosystem.

This tracker can be used with Apple or Google's find my device apps--no other app needed. We are primarily Android users and put this on our dog (it comes with a rubber strap for collar). On a couple occasions, I've disconnected my location/bluetooth and tried to track my dog as a test. It never updated. We live in a big city but not the city center. Driving on the freeway and even going to a shopping center parking lot, it still wouldn't update with Google's network. From what I understand, people have to opt in to Google's device finding service vs Apple, you have to opt out. We have an iPad but it's not always with us. I decided to reset the device and use it like an air tag. One advantage is that it is rechargable compared to an air tag.--------Updated - after resetting and using with Apple's network, it's now pinging but totally inaccurate. We are camping in a campground with many other people and a perfect 5g signal. I checked our 2 dogs trackers after we left. My dog who has an Apple airtag is showing the right location. My dog with the Pebbleee is showing he's 20 miles away on the interstate. We never even drove on that interstate to get where we were going.Updating my review to say that this may be good to find lost keys in the house but I wouldn't attach it to anything that's traveling.
