Despite being 15 pounds itself, absolutely great luggage! Space is just right also. Placed shot glasses, cologne bottles, and potato chip bags during my international flight and all were in tact despite just having clothes inside to hold it all in place. Comes with 2 keys for the lock, 3 handles, and inside zipper pocket holder. If you’re looking for a sturdy dependable luggage that will last, this is the one! 10/10

Excelente. Planeo llevar esto a un viaje de 2 meses que involucre varios cruceros en diferentes países. Necesitaba algo que fuera impermeable y pudiera asegurar mi ropa. No lo he usado todavía, pero regresaré y daré una actualización en caso de que no funcione. Pero creo que sí porque tengo un estuche pelícano diferente que también es perfecto.

Prácticamente indestructible pero ligera, tiene el tamaño máximo permitido para registar equipaje, los multiples seguros cumplen las normas de la TSA.

Having traveled the world with a Storm 2950, I am very pleased with both cases. 14 lbs. empty on the 1615 and 25 lbs. empty for the 2950, sometimes had to pay more for overweight with the 2950. Fully loaded and some tools it was expected. I could stand on it, I would not try that with the 1615 being over 225 lbs. myself.It is a lot tougher than any tourist luggage and not bad on the weight. It is still plastic really, so don't be dumb and it will last. You cant do anything about poor baggage handling.*Do yourself a favor and label the push buttons or some gorilla will break the latch, thinking it is like an older Pelican snap latch!

I've been purchasing Pelican cases and flashlights since the 90s. Over twenty years later and they've slowly evolved with better features.This Travel Case series is what made a slight pivot into modern times with:- easier handling (open/close) of the latches with no force unlike before- latches won't accidentally open when snagged on something- 40% lighter than the original case of the same size- carry handles that lock down and don't freely move- travel pouch and cubes (albeit flimsy)- TSA lock on top of the regular security lockWhat needs to improve:- Packing cubes are flimsy. There's no structure at all. It needs a better way to mount than loosely on the case. Like an internal clip or latch. Can it not be a durable Cordura-branded nylon at the very least for extra durability. Also needs a bit more rigidity.- Retractable handles are the same old one height level with no adjustment. Competitors have been offering multi-level adjustment to accommodate different heights.- Better additional locking system than a flimsy optional lock than can be easily cut. A solid metal bolt like Nanuk's TSA lock is the best even for this case. A shame Pelican can't do the same given it's size.I don't know how long Pelican can be a market leader in this segment. They are the leader in brand recognition, but competitors have caught up in features. Only time will tell if they can change and adapt with the times.

This is my new favorite checked bag. I got the foam insert version but I don't use the foam. I purposely got yellow and will probably get an Orange one. Why? It is easy to say the "Yellow Pelican" because most other large pelicans are going to be black. It is not a spinner so if you need that to bad. However, it rolls well and the wheels are recessed to not get damaged. The handles are in all the right places and are sturdy. I use for regular long trips and for scuba trips for my Aqualung gear.

Awesome case and very high quality. Case is a little on the heavy side so careful packing is required as it makes it very easy to exceed the maximum allowance.
