I bought a 6500 class with a bail and the lower gear ratio for the torque. I bait fish with it so no need to a fast gearing.This is the smoothest reel I own by far. I have put it to work catching numerous 40"+ striped bass. So far I have landed two that weighed 52lbs and 53lbs without an issue. Most other reels I have bought I normally have to do a service on them at the end of the 2nd season of use. I haven't had to open this one up yet to clean and grease the gears.It is a bit expensive but has been well worth the price I paid.

It has an IPX6 rating, so practically waterproof. Silky smooth even on monsters. Highly recommended for the price range.
