I am a regular user and massive fan of Pentel's Pocket brush pens and I have a black ink and sepia ink version. The black ink one was running out and so I knew I needed to order some more from somewhere. A lot of the UK suppliers were charging a prohibitively high price, which I couldn't see was justified.Luckily there is this supplier but the downside is they ship from Japan so you will wait longer for them to arrive.I didn't have to wait too long and the timing was excellent as my last remaining cartridge gave up the ghost as these were delivered.For those who don't know, the ink in these cartridges is Pentel's permanent ink and it is rich, dark black, pretty quick drying and very water-resistant, meaning you can use it with watercolours etc. The only comparable pens and ink in my opinion would be Kuretake's, though their permanent ink cartridges (as supplied with the No.85 brush pen) are impossible to buy here and are not as water-resistant as Pentel's anyway. You can apparently use Platinum carbon ink cartridges (which are very water-resistant) in the Kuretake's but I haven't tried that yet.The photos are of drawings using the Pocket brush pen and the ink in these cartridges with Pentel's colour brush pens.If you have a Pentel Pocket brush pen (and why wouldn't you?) then you will need new cartridges before too long and if so these are, according to my research, the best price per cartridge.

J'utilise ces cartouches depuis plus de 15 ans, j'avais l'habitude d'acheter à l'unité (un sachet = 4 cartouches) en boutique d'art, et là avec ce lot, ça revient bien moins cher, et j'en ai plein d'avance. Je ne regrette pas.

This ink is fade , water and alcohol (Copic or any marker) resistant. It's also a dark black. Not as dark as Dr. Ph. Martin's Black Star India Ink. But trying to find other inks the match up to this is kind of impossible. Not even Platinum Carbone Ink(it's not fade resistant but water and alcohol resistant) can match up. Yes it's not a bottle of ink which will save you more money BUT it's a great Investment.
