Impressive for the price point

Wires are hard which makes delicate electriaal testing difficult. They want to go where they want to go...not helpful at all. I'd recommend soft silicone wired testers

What I like best about this tester is the long flexible cord. It's hard to believe it's so floppy, so that makes it very easy to use. It's nice and thick and feels very well insulated. The clamp is pretty heavy duty for its size, and the probe works well. No complaints at all!

I was installing an LCD rear view mirror and dash cam and needed to test fuse slots in a Forte. This is exactly what I needed and found it at a great price.I like that it has a large alligator clip on the negative end. I was able to easily attach it to the frame of the car without it popping off. The ground wire is quite long (2 feet ish) and VERY thick. I was very impressed with it's construction, I was expecting something cheap based on the price I paid.I later used it to test Prius fuse slots for another dash cam install and again had zero issues. It clipped on nicely to a bolt while I wiggled underneath the dash where the fuse box is (very inconvenient place) and I was able to test the slots without the clip coming loose and having to wiggle back out.I'm not an electrician and only dabble in simple wire/switch installs and only because I have devices such as this to find not only which fuse slot is hot while the car is off, but which side of the fuse slot is hot for the fuse tap.
