Mida la puerta
Para encontrar el lugar adecuado para la puerta de la mascota, marque la altura del hombro de su mascota en la pared, luego utilice la plantilla proporcionada para rastrear el contorno de la puerta.
Cortar la pared
Cortar a lo largo de la línea de plantilla trazada tanto en los lados interior como exterior de la pared.
Instalar la puerta de la mascota
Coloque el marco de la puerta de la mascota en la pared y asegure el marco con tornillos para que su mascota pueda tener la libertad de salir fuera en su propio tiempo.

Yo tengo un año con la puerta mis perritas aprendieron muy rápido a usarla, está fabulosa pueden salir al jardín ella solitas hacer pipí sin tener que avisar, a tomar el sol y luego volver. Cómo la cortina es de plástico y tiene un imán para cerrarse no entra aire a diferencia de otras puertas de este tipo.

100% recomendada, nosotros dejamos a nuestro perrito dentro de la casa cuando salimos y con su puertita el tiene la opción de salir y hacer sus necesidades cuando lo requiera, hay que tener paciencia para enseñarles, para ellos no es natural el pasar por una puerta así al inicio pero con premios y tiempo todo es posible, nuestro perrito aprendió rápidamente pero puede no ser el caso para todos. Nosotros subimos el flap y lo pegamos a la pared y poco a poco lo fuimos bajando mientras le llamábamos con premios para que cruzara. Compramos la M y tenemos un corgi, quedó perfecta! Importante conseguir un albañil que te la instale pero es muy fácil siguiendo las instrucciones. 5 estrellas sin duda! Espero les sirva el review.

Bought for our 2 Australian Shepherd's (60lbs) as they destroyed our smaller door squishing through it. They go through this one with ease and my chihuahua also can go in and out. Love that this one has 2 flaps, makes such a difference in heat loss.

Nosotros utilizamos esta puerta para complementar una ampliación que realizamos en la casa, tuvimos la suerte de poder diseñar bien el lugar y poner las dimensiones correctas para que el producto estuviera bien instalado en una pared de concreto, el resultado fue satisfactorio , después de unos días de entrenamiento mis mascotas usan la puerta con naturalidad y se notan mas contentos de poder entrar y salir libremente del patio; aparte de que la casa esta bien protegida del polvo, agua e insectos gracias a las puertas que proveen una gran protección.Nuestra recomendación es antes de comprar este producto, pensar bien donde colocarlo y platicarlo con el contratista con anticipación para que el acabado sea el deseado y complementar el producto con un tapete ( ya sea interno o externo) para evitar que las mascotas metan tierra y polvo a la casa.

My husband comes up with some pretty crazy ideas. His latest home project idea was to install a dog door - in the family room. Basically he's tired of the dogs doing their business all over the yard and wanted to restrict them to one area. In order to accomplish this, he said he needed to cut a hole in my wall - WHAT?!! Ok, after a brief freakout, we did the research and chose the Petsafe pet door. Because we have rottweilers, we ordered the large door. I have to admit, when it arrived, I thought there is no way the dogs will fit through that! (They do but more on that later). The instructions were excellent, including templates to help you cut the proper hole and place the door. My husband and my teenage son did all the work on this one. And I have to say, it looks fantastic. I love this door because it has 2 flaps which really helps keep the weather out. It made it a little trickier at first for the dogs to understand to go through it but they eventually figured it out. I had to hold open the flaps a few times to show them that they could also come back in that way. The flaps remind me of those windows that have the texture on them which makes it so can't see through them. The light comes through but it's not liking I'm looking at my yard through the hole in the house. The size is perfect and all three dogs fit as long as they go through one at a time, which is a concept they don't always grasp. I have two puppies and momma dog and all can navigate the door easily after some practice. A side note - we did have to put in a step on the outside of the house as it was a little to high for them to jump both out and in. This has been a successful project and I am very pleased with the PetSafe pet door. The quality of all of the components is excellent and the door as a whole will last a long time. Oh and it comes with a metal plate that you can slide in either in the house or outside. We're not using it but it looks like it would pretty easy to use if you ever wanted to close it temporarily.

I know it seems like I give a lot of glowing reviews about products but let me spend 1 minute explaining why...Amazon Reviews work and they work well. I ALWAYS look up Amazon reviews on products before I purchase them. This ensures that I get exactly what I want without the hassle/headache of a product failure. Because of this system, I usually get what I want and am satisfied with my purchase! So let's all pat ourselves on the backs for using this great review system in our favor!Now on to the cat door...I'm not an expert at home building or construction but this door was installed in less than one hour! WOW! It looks perfect inside and out! No flaws, no holes, no leaks, no issues with the bond between the two side or any issues at all. I've had it about 3 weeks now and it's working great. The cats love it and now they don't bother me to go outside at 6am.Details:I installed this on new construction 2x6 exterior wall. Lucky for me, I had photographs of the framing before the sheetrock so I could look for electrical wires before cutting! You should be careful of that as well. I used the included template to pencil my lines on the sheetrock side using a level to ensure that the template was level/square. I used a toe-kick saw to cut the sheetrock to the template outline then removed the insulation, inserted the interior end of the door and used their ingenious template transfer method to draw the template on the exterior wall. Again, I used the toe-kick saw for the exterior cedar siding to cut the hole, fit the two doors together and fastened them with sheetrock/galvanized screws.As some other reviewers suggested, I added clear caulk to the top of the metal framing as a quick-flash method for keeping out moisture. Walla!For my situation, I built a small stair on the exterior door because my deck was lower than the interior wall/kick board. Super easy but keep that in mind when installing a door like this. One side may not be at the same height as the other.I was instantly amazed how the double doors kept out the cold. Not a lick of cold air came out of this unit and it was COLD outside when I installed it.Overall, the unit is fit and trimmed properly. Yes, it's a metal frame with a plastic backing but the plastic is really a shield to keep the frame close to the walls. It's very snug, it looks good and the quality is such that this door will not rot, rust or otherwise go bad. I can honestly see this door as-is 10 years from now with little to no wear except maybe the doors where the cats come through.Our 1 year old cat took to the door in about 10 hours time now uses it regularly. In the summer, we'll use the locking door slide to keep out the 'coons and critters that like to inhabit our home.
