This beanie deserves 6-stars, and the Amazon page offering it, deserves 0 (zero) stars, or less. Three most important bits of information about this cap are nowhere to be found on their page, namely:(1) the fact that this cap is made of Infnity Goretex (a high quality material, that any seller in his right mind, would explicitly point out),(2) that this cap is made for Petzl (a well known brand itself), by Buff (another famous brand),(3) and finally, that this is one of those rare gems of a product that is NOT made in bloody China, but - HURRAY - in Spain!Go figure who can think that this is something that needs not to be mentioned, and you only discover it when the item actually arrives ???

I can tell this would keep someone dry, but not necessarily warm. Was a bit too big. I'm a female who wears a size 7 3/4 hat because of my hair too. M/L was too big for me, but keep in mind this is unisex sizing.
