There’s nothing worse than trying to detangle a ball of cabling. Eliminate the XLR cabling mess by purchasing the Phenyx Pro XLR Snake cable. The snake cable combines 4 XLR cables into one neatly wrapped enclosure. Each cable is colored coded to easily recognize what input goes with the channel on the mixing console. Worried about length? You won’t have any concerns with this cable as it comes in 3 sizes: 3,6 and 10 feet.QUALITY: The male/female inputs are solid. The XLR cabling seems a bit thin, but I’m not an expert in cabling. The snake enclosure is thick and seems very protective of the XLR cabling.TESTING: I tested this cable with a Phenyx Pro 7000. I did not have any issues with connecting to the individual inputs on the Phenyx Pro receiver or the mixer. The sound quality was excellent as expected.VALUE: As for the value of this product. It’s equivalent if not more economical than purchasing 4 individual XLR cables. If you want to keep your cabling clutter to a minimum, I’d highly recommend purchasing this product.

This snake checks all the boxes! If you are looking for a professionally quality 4-channel snake, you've found it. The Phenyx Pro PCBL-4IN1 is made of VERY high-quality materials. Not only on the outside but the inside as well. The outer housing is made of very strong and robust material but it's still easily the most agile snake I've come across. It's not rigid at all. The leads are all very bright, high-contrast colors that are very easy to identify, even in low-light situations. The leads are also quite a bit longer than any other snake I've come across which makes it perfect for getting into hard-to-reach places. The spacing between the housing and XLR connectors is quite substantial as well. It doesn't feel like I'm forcing the cable to reach the input/output which makes the snake the perfect tool for a rack. The snake comes in several different lengths (3ft, 6ft, and 10ft) and you can slide the channel number blocks around to fit your needs! This is FAR superior to the competition who mostly decide to print the channel number onto the cables directly. Not only can that wear off over time but it can also make the snake very cumbersome and clumsy to use. The locks work great and are very easy to operate. If you need a high-quality, easy-to-use, and fantastic-sounding snake BUY THIS NOW!!PROS:Comes in several different lengths.Bright, high-contrast color selection for the leads which makes them VERY easy to use, especially in the dark.24AWG 100% oxygen-free copper wire and silver-plated pins in the XLR connectors allow for extremely high-quality audio transmission.3 pin easy to use lock allows for a secure connection to your mixer or devices.EXCELLENT noise rejection! I was extremely impressed with this. I tried my hardest to get interference with this snake and couldn't do it.CONS:The only con I can think of is that as of the time of writing this review, 4 channels is the only option available. It would be FANTASTIC to see this line expand with more and fewer channel options.SUMMARY:The Phenyx Pro PCBL-4IN1 is easily the most high quality, easy to use, and most flexible snake I've come across in my 25+ years working in pro audio! If you need a 4 channel snake, don't even consider another option. Trust me, I've used them all and as usual Phenyx Pro blows them all away!

I needed to connect 4 channels from a digital loudspeaker management system to a 4 channel amplifier housed in a rack cabinet, and this fit the bill perfectly. I typically make all my own interconnect/patch cables, but time was of the essence and this was readily available in a time frame faster than I could do on my own. Works great!

It's actually quite well made. Works very well inside the new rack-box.

I used this snake to patch my 4 channel wireless mic receiver to my mixer board. It worked great and made cable management much easier.
