This switch is wonderful and fits my needs. My lamp switch was in an awkward spot and this extension gives me easy access. I have it on my end table top for convenience.

I live in an older home where the particular room where used does not have wall switches. This switched extension is great, as I've used it in the entry to the room to control two table lamps on either side of a sofa. The switch is unobtrusive though easily accessible at the entry, and the cord is a long length accommodating the distance to the power outlet located behind the sofa. I particularly like the design where the controlled socket on the extension is the same electrical plug that is that is used in the outlet/receptacle to power the extension.

Producto con falla ya que no se mantenía el botón para prender o apagar, tuve que abrirlo para solucionar el problema. Lo demás si se ve de buena calidad.

The switch on my desk lamp is on the cord of the lamp which falls behind my desk. I purchased this to provide an easy way to turn the lamp on and off. This switch works great. I placed the switch under my desk and now I am able to turn the lamp on and off with my foot. Genius!

This well-priced foot switch works well, but it depends on your needs. It works well in some places, not so well in others.I like how the foot switch is at the end of the cable, so that it only has one cable coming from it instead of two. The foot switches that are in the middle of the cable, so that there are effectively two cables attached to the switch, makes those other switches flip over and not want to lie flat.I also like how it’s a simple smooth shape and all one solid color. Another switch sold here looks like a red and black UFO, yuck.This cord however only has one outlet on it. You’d need to buy an adapter if you need it to control power for two or more devices together.That’s not a huge deal, but also, the outlet is at the other end of the cord. This may be undesirable in some setups. If you have multiple devices connected, then you’d have a multi-outlet adapter and multiple power cords all coming from the power outlet. That’s 3 or more cords.And this cord is not an extension cord. It doesn’t extend the reach of the cords at all. So the cords on all the devices have to reach the wall socket. If they don’t, then you’ll have to add another extension cord to the mix. That’s a lot of unsightly cords and outlets running everywhere — unattractive, and possibly even a fire hazard, due to having more cheap plastic cords and connections.I do like this cord very much and recommend it, but I would think about whether it will work well in your situations. I’ll be using a mix of this and other cords.
