My daughter reports that this is not her favorite dance skirt. She says that it rolls with movement, so she has to keep pulling it down. She prefers a wrap skirt.

I got this for my 13 year old daughter who is in ballet and dances 5 days a week. She really likes this skirt--the design is feminine and has a nice fit with the back being a tad longer for good coverage. It is comfortable waist band, soft and the color goes with all her leotards and doesn't tend to wrinkle as much which is really nice. We have washed it several times and still looking beautiful!

This ballet skirt is pretty and nice material to dance with. Definitely use size chart when choosing size though as I ordered my usual women size and it was WAY too small for me. Love the white color though and I am sure if I had ordered the right size I would have loved it. Would recommend.

I did not have high expectations for this product as it arrived vacuum sealed and therefore gave the impression that it would be flimsy. However, after washing and drying on delicate, this is not at all flimsy and the fabric is substantial and good quality. The skirt also exceeded my expectations in how flattering it is. The waistband is on the wider side which (on me anyway) is slimming compared to those wrap around ballet skirts with the thin ribbon. The length is short enough to be considered a short skirt, but long enough to cover my upper thigh fat and make me look thinner. The back is a little longer than the front which is flattering. The sides have slits going up just like in the photo which is also slimming. Lastly, I was quite concerned about the “A-line” description as I have a small waist relative to my hips and A-line skirts typically flare out on me and make me look heavier than I am. This skirt, however, is not a typical A-line. It has just enough flare to look “normal”, but it doesn’t jut out like a true A-line.I am honestly surprised that a skirt of this quality is available at this price point.Note that this is Chinese sizing — I have a 29” waist and the size XL fits me comfortably.

My daughter wanted this ballet skirt for her dance class. What really caught her eye was the design. First, the waistband is wide and is actually part of the design. It is more attractive (and sturdier) than the usual wrap-around skirt that is tied with a ribbon. The side slit is perhaps her favorite thing about this skirt. It creates a very slimming and attractive look. Finally it is cut so that the back is slightly longer than the front, again, adding to an overall classy design. This isn't an expensive skirt; the material is soft and somewhat thin, so I'm not sure about its durability. But for now, it washes well in cold water and is holding up very nicely. It comes in a number of very nice colors, but she chose black to wear in her class. We'd be happy to order this skirt again in other colors if needed.
