Cotter pins are on of those things that I think every handy person short keep on hand. These are the springy kind with the curves on one side so that these lock into place with tension rather than having to bend them. These are not stainless steel, but rather zinc-plated steel, which still provides corrosion resistance. Overall for the quality and quantity you get for the price I think this is an excellent assortment to keep handy for those times when you just need a cotter spring. I've already had to use them twice since I received them. I am quite satisfied with these.

These R-pins are used in so many things around my house. My lawnmower uses the larger R pins to hold attachments like a striper or mulcher, my old RC cars need smaller ones for securing the body panels, and even my garage storage racks use these. Rather than buy each size individually, a variety pack seemed like the way to go.This product arrived neatly packaged in a plastic organizer (& bubble wrap), with each size clearly labeled. The pins feel hefty and do not at all seem like a cheap version; they seem to be the same as any other R-pin I’ve held. The sizes range from large, like my lawnmower ones, to pretty small, like the ones I need for my RC cars. I have no issue with the product, it is exactly what is advertised and the quality leaves nothing to be desired. Seeing as I have no complaints, and the value seems to be fair, I think it's a 5-star product.
