I realize that the intended use for these is in a workshop environment, but I used them along the edge of my craft room counter and am in love with how convenient they are to have. The measurements are exact, the stickiness is great and I love using them. I did prep the surface before sticking them down, so that may have added to how well they stuck down. I am very pleased with these tapes.

I'm building a new miter saw station and wanted a built in measuring system to each side so I didn't have to keep using a tape measure. This is exactly what I was looking for.I compared the tick marks against my tape measure and everything seems accurate. Markings are clear and easy to read. the tape itself is certainly strong enough for my use.I just wish they made a pack with 1 left to right and 1 right to left that were sold together.

I put one of these tapes on the edge of my outside work table which is actually an old piece of siding covered with an inexpensive tarp and sitting atop 4 sawhorses. I did clean the tarp at the edge of the siding where I installed the first tape to give the self-adhesive a clean surface to stick to. So far, so good regarding the adhesive and it’s survived some strong wind and rain and a rapid temperature change. Still stuck there on the edge, helping me get my projects completed for my she-shed and fence rehab. I appreciate not having to always carry a tape measure, or trying to figure out where I put it down since now my workbench has a handy tape measure attached.The second one is installed on my workbench in the garage. I cut it down to 48” so it would run edge to edge on my workbench. It wasn’t difficult to cut and it has stayed in place since I cleaned the bench prior to peeling the adhesive covering and laying along the front of my bench. It lays flat and it is easy to read the measurements. Our garage is not climate controlled, but it is at least protected from wind and rain, so I expect this tape to be in place and useful for a long time. These are so incredibly helpful and I’m glad I’ve added these tools to my DIY kit!

I got these right-to left tapes for making jigs and fixtures. The tapes are a durable flat metal with adhesive back and clear, legible markings. They are nicely made and perfectly suitable for my needs. The metal tape is somewhat thick so if the surface you are mounting to needs to be dead flat you will need to dado a shallow groove in the surface to allow the tape to sit flush.

You would expect this to be accurate and it is. It's also clearly and cleanly printed, the correct size to be placed in Kreg and other miter-style slots, and the adhesive is sticky enough to keep it in place. What's not to like? I am perfectly satisfied with it and have it in the slot on my router table extension.
