NOTA

This product, though slightly larger than a business card, has absolutely astounding sound quality. I'm using two 4-ohm speakers that operate well with this setup. The amplifier is powered by a 24V, 4.5A power supply, which works extremely well. I initially tried a 12V, 5A power supply, but it didn't provide enough power and caused sound distortion due to the high demand from the speakers. All in all this is a very worth while low investment amplifer for general listening purposes. I bought it to modify a bluetooth speaker I have, but after hearing it on my audio system I think I'll use it for that instead. Great build quality with easy to use volume controls. The Bluetooth works well and so does the auxiliary input with no distortion. Very simple to put together and assemble. Love it.

I made a little portable bluetooth speaker box using this amp and a couple Dayton Audio ND65-4 drivers in a ported box. Nice sound and amp has enough power to push those drivers. I am using a spare 19v 4A power supply (from an old laptop I think), so there is plenty of headroom. I am only using it on bluetooth (actually removed the au input jack) and connectivity works perfectly fine. Pairing and use is easy, and has a range of *at least* 20 feet, even through a wall or two.The 2x100w specs are a bit overzealous though. Expect no more than about 55 watts RMS on both channels on 4Ω load with a 24v 5A power supply at no audible distortion. If you use a lower power supply voltage (or not enough current capability), the amp output will be reduced. Refer to the TAP3116D2 datasheet for full details on true RMS output vs power supply voltage vs distortion vs speaker load.I made my own mounting plate for the amp and the power input, so I did not use the case plates it came with. This made the amplifier footprint even tinier than in the product pictures. I ran it installed in the speaker box at a good volume for 20-25 minutes and it got barely warm, so efficiency is good (which means little wasted heat on the amp itself).

Buyer Beware...I have purchased and returned one of these already and received a second one and it had the same exact issues as the first. Thermal runaway / shutdown. I am now returning the second one. Read below on what I have found with this item. I gave it one star since for maybe 5 minutes of it working it sounded pretty good.I have purchased this item to replace a bad bluetooth / amp in a Sanyo sound bar. After spending some time making plastic brackets to mount the board in the sound bar, getting everything neatly wired and the sound bar put back together. I plugged in the recommended 24 volt 5 amp (actually 6 amp supply was purchased for this) it only worked for a few minutes and started to shut on and off.I left it off for about 15 minutes and then turned it on again and after a few minutes it shut off and on again. I have a background of 40 plus years as Broadcast Engineer and I usually repair my own items, thus buying this to fix a bad Sanyo BlueTooth sound bar.I checked to see if there was any thermal compound under the heatsink via one screw holding it down and there was little to none which was also dried out. And when I say little to none for heatsink compound, I mean as little as a pencil point dot of compound. Due to the manufacture of this device not placing enough thermal compound between the device and heatsink cause thermal runaway. The TPA3116D2 Texas Instruments audio IC is only rated for 50 watts Stereo or 100 watts Mono. The TPA3116D2 specifications for the supply voltage is 21 volts, but is capable of running up to 26 volts. I will guess to achieve the 100 + 100 per channel is that they are using two of these ICs in a Push Pull configuration. This would be pushing the two ICs to the limit. On my second one that I received I added more thermal compound to the device to heatsink before even turning it on. That gave me at least almost 12 minutes of use until it went bad as the first one did shutting on and off due to thermal runaway.I know all the above is touching on technical information, but that is what I have done for 40 plus years. What this all boils down to is that this Bluetooth Amplifier is not properly heatsink designed to remove the heat form the ICs and also it is running at the limits of what the manufacture of the audio IC designed it for.Earlier manufacturing of this Bluetooth Amplifier may have been fine per the other satisfied comments, but the latest manufacturing run of the items is bad. Also look at the other sellers that are selling the same design under a different name. I would take a good guess they would have the same issue.Again, Buyer Beware - Caveat EmptorUpdate! Update!before doing any testing I removed the heatsink via the one screw, cleaned off the dry dot of compound and placed the proper amount of thermal compound on the devices then paced the heatsink back on with the one screw.I then placed the replacement Bluetooth Amplifier on the workbench with a moderate volume driving the amplifier from a bluetooth source while powering it with a variable power supply. I slowly started with a voltage voltage of 12volts and the amplifier was fine. As I approached 19 volts the amplifier started to show signs of heat which is been much after the new thermal compound. When I increased the voltage of 22 volts it started to show signs of distortion along with more heat. When I approached 24 volts, after a minute or so the amplifier shut down due to heat. I shut it down and let it cool off. I set the supply to 15 volts and it was stable for a test of an hour or so.I am now running the amplifier with a 12 volt 6 amp power supply from Amazon.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08ZC7J3BZ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1With this power supply the bluetooth amplifier driving two 8 ohm speakers are more than enough volume for my living room using the rebuilt Sanyo sound bar.The mentioned 24 volts is to high for this amplifier design without an adequate heatsink and fan.

I’m surprised this little guy cranks out some legitimate power. My buddy traded me some outdated new in the box Sonance outdoor speakers. I didn’t expect much from this Bluetooth receiver/amp but it plays continuously and clearly. I haven’t turned it all the way up but I’d imagine it would drive my speakers just fine.Music is very clear and the Bluetooth signal extends further than the product description states. I couldn’t be more happy so I purchased another to drive bass shakers in my recliner. I would definitely recommend these to anyone with space limitations and a few speakers that need to be driven. The price point is incredible but you’ll have to assemble it. I used a serving tray because the parts are very small. Be sure to get a 24v 6 amp power supply and you won’t regret your purchase.

Muchas Gracias.
