I have used a variety of guitar cables over the past 35 years of playing. Depending upon the materials and construction, each one imparted a little bit different sound.I've been gigging the past 7 years or so with some "ok" cables that run somewhere around $20-$30.I don't actually remember why I decided to try the D'addario cables, but I'm glad I did. Whether through my pedal board with two 15' cables or guitar straight to amp with one cable, I now have a tone I can only describe as "buttery" - smooth but not muddy, warm but articulate. They immediately became my favorite cables of all time.Extra bonus: The cables are worth a lot of D'addario Players Circle points on their website. I've picked up some nice free stuff and a few packs of strings. Sweet!

I am sure that this is an excellent quality cable however it is not for me. The cable is stiff and twists up too easily.I have been playing for 45 years and have used many cables. The cable I was using prior to buying this one was much softer and did not easily twist up. I needed something with two 45 degree connectors and this was the only one I could find.I have ordered raw cable and quality connectors to build my own.
