I got this in white and initially thought it looked like a white tank. But up close this is definitely different. The entire shirt is compressed, but underneath the chest area is where it really tightens up. It does a good job sucking in the bulge, but don’t expect a miracle if your belly actually hangs a bit. Also, it can be a bit difficult to get on and off, especially on. I had my roommate help me put it on because the back rolled all the way up - that’s how tight it is, though it doesn’t restrict your movement. I’d say it’s good to have in a pinch, but I’m more eager just to do the manual work and get the pounds off.

This shirt looks big when you take it out of the bag that it's packaged in. I ordered a medium, it had a tag on it that said it was a medium, but it was the biggest medium compression/slimming shirt that I have ever put on my body, and I own over 100 of these types of shirts. If it had been advertised as a compression shirt only, like a base layer shirt for instance, my review would be a little bit better and a little bit more positive. The shirt does offer light compression on the chest, back, and midsection. It is enough compression to keep the fat on the chest and midsection from jiggling when you exercise or walk throughout the day, but not even close to enough to produce any slimming effects for the chest or midsection. This shirt is made big, too big, in my opinion. It is super easy to put this shirt on and take it off over your head, like you would any cotton t-shirt. In my opinion, these types of shirts should never be this easy to put on or take off. This shirt has an extra layer of fabric over the stomach area only, not on the love handles. This extra layer did nothing for me. The stomach area is actually a little loose on me, and I do have some fat in that area that I wanted to be slimmed. This shirt has a lot of elasticity in it also, which I think hurts in the slimming effects area. In my humble opinion, this shirt was probably good in theory, but it was designed poorly.

This is too stretchy and, while the tank fits, it doesn't compress anything. It's like an workout compression shirt, snug, but doesn't have any squeeze to it.
