Stage two, three and four contain about enough media for 4 of the 3.5 pound barrels included with a Harbor Freight rotary tumbler. Even less stage one depending on how smooth and round you start with. I paid $32.99 for the 4 containers in this bundle. This is not a good value for your money.That being said, with care, attention to detail, thorough rinsing between stages I was able to get glassy , mirror finished rocks that look wet even when completely dry. My rocks are so slick they are hard to hold on to as if they were oiled.The product works as advertised, I deducted one star because it represents a terrible value for the quantity you receive. If you aim to really do this you will most likely need to buy bulk from the manufacturer or some other source.

Polly Plastic grits work great to polish stones in a tumbler. Make sure you buy the right tumbler and grit for the job; some tumblers are best for shining brass casings for reloading ammo and should not be used for stones as the bowl is not made sturdy enough...and some tumblers make stones go from plain to gorgeous! Grit makes all the difference. This brand is one of the very best that we’ve used.

Fast delivery and works well but I find all grits sent to Canada expensive for what you are purchasing.
